The modern diamond industry plays a part in environmental damage and human rights abuses. For this reason, we use re-purposed stones wherever possible.

Recycled Metals
Refining or recycling metal that already exists helps lessen the environmental impacts of modern gold mining.
40% of all gold used in the jewelry industry is recycled. We work with the highest percentage of recycled gold possible.
Eco-friendly Packaging
Wherever possible we provide packaging that is recyclable, biodegradable, or made from recycled materials.
If you have Lori McLean packaging that you no longer need, feel free to bring it back to us! We will happily recycle or reuse it, as long as it is still in good condition.
Local Community
Lori’s original designs are crafted by talented jewelers working in New York City's diamond district.
Keeping everything in town enables us to focus on the details and support the local economy. It is also a treat to work with so many nice people!
