Located in Manhattan's West Village, the shop at 49 Grove Street is small in size but surprisingly full of things to see. We carry more than twenty-five handmade jewelry lines in a variety of styles, materials, and price ranges, in addition to our carefully curated collection of vintage jewelry which focuses on Victorian lockets and compasses.
While the majority of our stock is jewelry, the store also offers a selection of ceramics by Laura Zindel, decoupage trays and paperweights by John Derian, hand-printed greeting cards, cast botanical objects, candles, antique oddities, and an ever-changing array of seasonal delights.
Our guiding credo is "Jewelry for the People!" in that we believe the world is full of beautiful, well-made, reasonably priced goodies and our job is to bring them to the people. No snotty attitude, no pompous pretense, just really pretty things wrought with meaning and love. One day we plan to write a full manifesto defining all of our favorite theories on jewelry, retail, history, faith, and the joys of city living. Until then we invite you to come to our lovely neighborhood and visit our cozy shop and we will do our best to make you happy. |
